Required Reading
Required reading reports
The required reading function of the QMS allows organisations to Assign Required Reading and collect data on what reading has been completed by system Users.
There are two ways to view required reading data within the system:
- View required reading information for a single User
- Download a required reading report for multiple Users
Important
Only Users with Administration level permission can view whether Users have completed their required reading and download required reading reports.
View required reading information for a single User
Administration level Users can view individual User information about required reading.
Step 1
Access People > Users and double click on the user’s name.
Step 2
Click Required Reading.
Step 3
Use the arrows next to Reading Status to filter the Items. This will allow you to view content that is Read and Understood or still Required Reading.
Download required reading report for a multiple User
Administration level Users can download a report of required reading information for multiple users.
Step 1
Access People > Users and filter the list of Users if desired
Refer to Filter and Sort Content page for more information.
Step 2
Click Download.
Step 3
Select the Create document from option that meets your preference.
- Selected users – will create a report of any filtered or selected Users
- All users – will create a report from all Users in the QMS
Step 4
Change Document content using the drop down menu and select Required Reading User Summary
Step 5
The report will download in a spreadsheet which can be opened when ready.
Tip
You can set up alerts to remind Users of incomplete Required Reading under App Settings. Refer to Manage App Settings. Email reminders to complete required reading will be automatically sent out on the first day of every month at 6am AEST. This email will be sent out to any users that still need to complete required reading.
